About the prize
Claire Mascall had a 35 year career in PR that ranged from the nuclear and electricity industries to housing and construction to banking and finance. Not only did Claire become an enviable PR practitioner heading up the corporate affairs at the London Stock Exchange and the global corporate communications at ING Barings, she also inspired and shaped the careers of others too. So Claire’s family, friends and former work colleagues are launching a prize in Claire’s name to the full time undergraduate ‘Public Relations’ and ‘Public Relations with Marketing’ students as well as the ‘MA Public Relations’ students at Leeds Metropolitan University to continue ‘inspiring future generations of PR professionals’.
